FAQ
What is a trucker hat?
A trucker hat is a style of baseball cap with a foam or structured front panel and a breathable mesh back — originally worn by, well, truckers, for the ventilation. It's typically got a snapback closure and a slightly curved bill.
What makes Twin Bills trucker hats different from a regular snapback?
The mesh back and the patch. A standard snapback is usually one consistent fabric all the way around with an embroidered or printed graphic; a trucker hat's mesh back is functional (it breathes), and our patches are sewn on rather than printed, so they've got texture and durability a flat print doesn't.
What is a low-profile hat?
It refers to the height of the crown — how tall the hat sits above your head. A low-profile hat has a shorter, closer-fitting crown compared to a "high-profile" cap, which sits taller and boxier. Every Twin Bills hat, across every collection, is built low-profile with a curved bill.
How should a trucker hat fit?
The adjustable closure means one size works for most head sizes — you're looking for a snug-but-not-tight fit at the closure point, with the bill sitting level rather than tilted up or down.
Will this hat fit larger head sizes?
The snapback closure adjusts to fit a wide range of head sizes (6 1/2 - 7 5/8). The low profile crown sits closer to the head than a mid to high profile crown, so people with larger heads may not like the fit.
How do I care for this hat?
Hand wash in cold water, reshape the brim while wet, and air dry. Do not machine wash or machine dry.
